The Snowflake Support Portal and Documentation search utilizes a powerful natural language processing (NLP) engine that finds all topics/articles containing matching (and related) words and phrases. So why does this search sometimes appear to return incomplete results?
As you type in the search bar, a list appears. This list is not a list of search results. It is a feature called "Autocompleter" that dynamically displays topics/articles whose titles contain the search terms you are entering. This is why the list appears to return incomplete results.
To execute a full-text search (i.e. search across the entire contents of the portal and documentation), you must press the [return] key (in Mac) or [Enter] key (in Windows) after entering your search terms.
The search results page then displays a complete list of matching (and related) topics/articles.
